The 2. liga žen is the second tier of women’s football in Czechia. It serves as the gateway to the FORTUNA LYGA and brings together clubs competing for promotion to the national top flight. The competition begins with a regular league phase played in a single table. Teams are then split into a promotion stage and a relegation stage, where promotion places to the first division and survival positions are decided.
