The ASEAN Women’s Championship is the leading international women’s football competition for national teams belonging to the ASEAN Football Federation. Established in 2004 as the AFF Women’s Championship, the tournament brings together the region’s leading women’s teams in the race to become Southeast Asian champions. The competition generally features a group stage followed by a knockout phase. The highest-ranked teams advance to the semi-finals before competing for a place in the final and the ASEAN women’s title.
