I. liga žien

The Orange Liga, also known as the I. liga žien, is the top tier of women’s football in Slovakia. Organised by the Slovak Football Association, it brings together the country’s leading women’s clubs in the national championship. The competition begins with a regular home-and-away league phase. Teams are then split into a championship group and a placement group. The club finishing first is crowned Slovak champion, while the lowest-ranked team is relegated to the second tier.
