About
The Toppserien is the top tier of women’s football in Norway. It brings together the country’s leading women’s clubs in the national championship. The competition is played in a single league table, with teams facing each other home and away across the season. The club finishing first is crowned Norwegian champion, while the lowest positions lead either to direct relegation or to a promotion-relegation play-off with the second tier.
